Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
