Our Purpose Consists of Only Killing' - How Sudan's Brutal Fighting Force Perpetrated a Massacre

Fighters smirk as they ride on the rear of a transport truck, hurrying by a series of nine corpses and driving towards the sinking African sunset.
"Look at all this effort. See this ethnic cleansing," a fighter exclaims.
The fighter grins as he turns the recording device on himself and his fellow combatants, their paramilitary insignia on display: "They shall all be killed in this manner."
The combatants are exulting in a mass killing that aid workers fear resulted in the deaths of more than 2,000 individuals in the African city of el-Fasher in recent weeks.
A City Severed from the Globe
