The Two Fatalities Named in the Providence Campus Attack as Police Continue Manhunt for Killer.

Two students who were killed in the recent tragic incident at Brown University had tributes paid to them on Monday – as a manhunt for their killer persisted following the discharge by local law enforcement of the single suspect questioned in the case.

Remembering Ella Cook

The student Ella Cook, a second-year student from Alabama, was described as “a wonderful, steady, devout, shining presence”, according to the Birmingham's Cathedral Church of the Advent, which paid tribute to her at a service on Sunday.

Cook was vice-president of Brown’s branch of College Republicans of America, as the club stated. The White House press secretary also shared condolences publicly, remarking: “Words cannot express. Thinking of her loved ones and companions, particularly her mother and father.”

The Second Victim

The other deceased individual was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov from Uzbekistan, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the renowned school, family members said.

His name was confirmed by the foreign office of Uzbekistan.

“He was incredibly kind, funny, and smart. He harbored grand aspirations of becoming a neurosurgeon and assisting patients,” his sister, Samira Umurzokova said in a memorial statement.
