Approximately 25,000 households in south-east Queensland found themselves lacking electricity on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems passed over the area, bringing strong winds topping over 100 km/h.

Large Frozen Precipitation and Broad Destruction

Homeowners reported substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts confirmed that different parts across Queensland had been impacted by significant hail.
